CRM is also extending hours ahead of Nicole’s landfall. Doors open Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. and remain open until conditions are deemed safe.

“It is important for us to provide a safe place for our community’s most vulnerable during inclement weather events,” said CRM Executive Director Paul Stasi.

He said they are ready to provide shelter, hot meals, and a dry place to stay for any Jacksonville residents who need them. No one will be turned away.

“Our goal is to make sure anyone who needs safe shelter during the storm will come to us. Our hope is that if they do not have a safe place beyond the storm that they will allow us to help them transition out of homelessness,” said Stasi.

CRM is a nonprofit centered on helping people experiencing homelessness and addiction in Jacksonville.
