JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Xfinity by Comcast users reported outages Wednesday morning across multiple states, including Florida.

According to DownDetetcor, issues began pouring in around 10 a.m. It was around that time the internet also went down at the News4JAX station where employees were left waiting patiently for IT to resolve the issue (huge shout out to our IT department for a swift recovery).

News4JAX viewers reached out saying their internet cut off in the middle of working. Other users took to Twitter to see what was going on.

“Anybody else having internet outage issues with Xfinity/Comcast?” one user wrote.

“So much work to do and flipping Comcast Xfinity having a ‘planned outage’ - now wondering if it’s worth driving to a coffee shop,” another user wrote.

One person said after outages on Tuesday night, they woke up to find more outages this morning.

The outages also appeared to at least temporarily affect some businesses’ online ordering capabilities.

News4JAX learned around 12:15 p.m. that customers should be back online soon, according to a Twitter reply from Xfinity to a customer.

The issues caused by a substantial fiber cut and some network issues are now resolved & our customers are starting to come back online. For further assistance, visit the Xfinity app or DM @XfinitySupport with your account information.
