JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday afternoon said police were investigating a robbery in Arlington and that they found a person who was shot.
The scene was near Arlington Road and Underhill Drive, where police say a car crashed into a building. Nearby, they found a man who had been shot.
Investigators determined the man involved turned a gun on himself. He was said to have been hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.
The robbery was said to have occurred nearby on Paine Avenue. Additional details were not immediately clear.
