DUVAL COUNTY, Fla. – Two people are in custody in connection with a murder investigation in Georgia, according to the Jacksonville Beach Police Department.
The arrested happened at the Springhill Suites on 1st Street Friday evening, according to the JBPD.

Police assisted U.S. Marshals in making the arrests.
Multiple firearms were recovered from the motel.
No names or details on the crimes have been released.
A man who lives in the area said the area outside of the hotel was chaotic.
“They just started swarming. Cops everywhere. There was about five or six in that parking lot, one was in that parking lot then I locked up here and I saw lights. I come up here see a minivan and it’s got some lights on. There two guys with guns,” a resident said.
