JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man was found stabbed on the sidewalk Sunday near a Value Pawn on Edgewood Avenue, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
Jacksonville Fire and Rescue were called to the area, but the man died at the scene.

It’s unclear how many times he was stabbed.
JSO said a knife was collected as evidence, but it’s not clear if it is the suspected weapon.
JSO also had all lanes on Edgewood Avenue blocked off from Commonwealth to Columbus avenues.
No suspect information was provided.
Police were looking for any witnesses as they continue to conduct their investigation.
