ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Multiple lanes were blocked for hours as crews worked to clear up an early morning semi crash that seriously injured two drivers in St. Johns County on Interstate 95 near International Golf Parkway.

A semitruck and a pick-up truck were headed north on I-95 before mile marker 324 when the semitruck crashed into the back of the pick-up truck around 5 a.m., according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The impact caused the two vehicles to be pushed off the road onto the grass shoulder, the report said. Then, the pickup truck struck a tree and rotated.
