JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office says a five-hour SWAT situation ended peacefully when a 26-year-old man surrendered.
It started shortly before 11 p.m. Saturday on Southside Boulevard when JSO received a call about someone discharging a firearm.

When officers arrived they learned that Hernandez Carmona Antonio Alberto had threatened several people. Police tried to get Alberto out of the home for five hours.
SWAT and hostage negotiators arrived and were able to get Alberto to surrender after two hours of negotiations.
No one was injured and there is no threat to the community.
Alberto was arrested and charged with aggravated assault.
