ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) say the person who fell off a boat and into the St. Johns River on Friday afternoon has been found dead.
According to the SJCSO, the search area had been focused on the area south of the Shands Bridge.

FWC said two people went out in a boat around 1 p.m. and one person fell out.
When the other boater circled back they couldn’t find the person.
The boaters launched into the St. John’s River from Trout Creek Park.
