St. Johns County beaches temporarily closed for drivers due to tidal flooding

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – All south beach gates in St. Johns County are temporarily closed due to tidal flooding, according to county officials.

On Friday, St. Johns County officials provided a list of announcements in preparation for the upcoming storms expected to hit our area Saturday night and Sunday morning.

The St. Johns County Ocean Pier will close to pedestrian access on Saturday morning until Sunday once conditions allow. The pier gift shop will remain open.

Officials said an update will be made once conditions improve.
