JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Christmas came early for the Jacksonville Jaguars offensive linemen last week when they were gifted brand-new golf carts by quarterback Trevor Lawrence.
A video that showed the 12 players in charge of protecting Lawrence being surprised by the gifts was posted to Instagram on Saturday.

“I had to treat my boys right,” Lawrence said. “They sacrifice a lot for us and for myself so I had to do something special for them for Christmas.”
The caption on Lawrence’s post appeared to poke fun at the criticism the team received after Lawrence rejected a golf cart when he hurt his ankle against the Cincinnati Bengals.
”I think this is where all the golf carts were,” Lawrence said.
Lawrence responded to critic Colin Cowherd, who took a shot at Jacksonville, saying it was embarrassing that the Jaguars didn’t put Lawrence on a cart after his injury.
“You don’t have a cart? It’s Florida, everybody owns a golf cart... Maybe you should move to Orlando because you’re such a Mickey Mouse operation,” Cowherd said on his show.
Lawrence said that he had the opportunity to get on a cart, but waved it off.
Last season, Lawrence surprised his 12 offensive linemen with a nice holiday timepiece, gifting each with Breitling Avenger Chronograph 45 watches during a private dinner. The watches range in price from $4,350 to $14,400 on the Breitling website.
