JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Duval County voters should be on the lookout for changes on updated voter information cards as the 2024 election season approaches.
The Duval County Supervisor of Elections Jerry Holland announced precinct location changes for over 245,000 voters and all 638,098 registered voters will receive new voter information cards.

The precinct/boundary changes are a result of a recent settlement that ended a lengthy legal battle over redistricting between several city rights groups and the city of Jacksonville.
The change made a total of 160 voting precincts for the 2024 presidential election.
The election on March 19, 2024, is a closed presidential preference primary, where voters can only vote for a candidate if they are a part of the Republican party. There will not be a Democratic primary.
Early voting begins March 8-16. Holland said more early voting sites were created so most households could find an early voting site within five miles of their residence.
The new precinct number and address will be included on the updated cards for those with changes.
