OCALA, Fla. – Albert J. Shell Jr., 39, has been named by the Ocala Police Department as the murder suspect after one man is dead and one woman is injured after a shooting at the Paddock Mall on Saturday afternoon, WKMG Click Orlando reports.

Around 3:40 p.m. Saturday, the Ocala Police Department received a call regarding a shooting with multiple shots fired.
Police initially described it as an “active shooting situation,” but later said that they believe that the suspect fled the scene and is at large. They believe the shooting may have been targeted.

According to police, the man was found dead in a common area. One woman was taken to the hospital and is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The shooting comes on the heels of two separate shootings were reported in Ocala within around an hour of one another on Friday night, according to the police department.
