JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Two off-duty officers with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office who were charged with DUI-related traffic violations in St. Johns County have pleaded no contest to reckless driving, court records show.

In February, Officer Christoper Krukowski Lamont, who was driving his personal vehicle, was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving in St. Johns County after a field sobriety test.

Lamont later pleaded no contest to reckless driving and was placed on 12 months of probation, which was terminated early.

Officer Craig Soucek, who was also driving his personal vehicle, was stopped by a St. Johns County deputy in March following a speeding violation on U.S. 1 North. The deputy believed Soucek was driving under the influence and a sobriety test was performed.

Soucek later pleaded no contest to reckless driving and was placed on six months of probation.
