ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – A Jacksonville man is dead after a crash in St. Johns County early Sunday morning.
The Florida Highway Patrol said a 45-year-old man was traveling south around 3 a.m. on Interstate 95 near mile marker 321.5 in a sedan when the vehicle veered off the highway into the right shoulder.

A 31-year-old St. Augustine woman was sitting inside a disabled sports utility vehicle on the side of the road, according to FHP.
The man collided with the disabled SUV. The impact pushed the SUV into the center lane.
The man died on the scene. The woman suffered minor injuries.
FHP is investigating.
