The company is often on the road with shows all over the country and even on other continents like in London where they set the all-time pro wrestling attendance record with more than 81,000 fans.

AEW is owned by Tony Khan, son of Jaguars owner Shad Khan. One of the stars of AEW is wrestler Eddie Kingston. Kingston sat down with host of the “Going Ringside” Podcast Scott Johnson to discuss the event on Wednesday.

“They can expect a lot of high flying, a lot of fighters. There’s a lot of fighters in AEW,” said Kingston. “You can expect a great show. You’re going to get everything.”

AEW is very familiar with Daily’s Place as it spent around a year and a half here permanently during the pandemic. While other sports promotions like the NBA, NHL and WWE closed off their performances to fans, AEW was the first to bring them back to the open air Daily’s Place.

“Jacksonville’s where we launched AEW five years ago,” said Tony Khan on a recent episode of “Going Ringside”. “We’re a local Jacksonville business. We’re based here. Have a lot of staff here including myself and the front office.”

The promotion has grown dramatically in the past five years. It now has three shows: Dynamite, Rampage and Collision. They air on TNT and TBS. But the company has also gone global in that time and their programs are shown in countries all over the world.

“We’re going to bring the very best of AEW,” said Khan. “Including the new champion Samoa Joe, Swerve Strickland who is one of the real rising stars of AEW. Hangman Page who’s been a world champion and is in the mix right now.”

Tickets are still available at AEWTIX.com.
