JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man was shot in the leg after an argument he wasn’t involved in escalated Monday afternoon and led to gunfire on East 32nd Street, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said.
Police said around 1 p.m., the shooter got into an argument that escalated with a woman. The man then went to shoot the woman but hit another man, who was not involved in the argument, investigators said.

The shooter then drove away, but police were about to find him and arrest him.
The injured man was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
