ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has announced the renourishment of Vilano Beach is complete. It was finished at the end of December, wrapping up three months ahead of schedule. They will start planting sea oats in a couple of weeks.

The next project for the Army Corps will be in St. Augustine Beach, from Anastasia Island to A Street. It will add 2.5 million cubic yards of sand to the shoreline. Work starts in February.
