JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man was found with a gunshot wound in the abdomen Sunday morning around 11:40 a.m. on Jacksonville’s Westside and he is in critical condition, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

Officials said the victim and suspect were engaged in a dispute on North Davis Street and the suspect shot the victim one time.

JSO said everyone involved is accounted for and there is no danger to the community.

Sunday at around 5:30 a.m., there was another shooting near Edgewood Avenue North on the Westside of Jacksonville.

Officials said a man was shot once in the back while he was inside a house. JSO said someone was outside the house and shot one time into the house and the bullet hit the man.

He was treated at a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

No one was arrested and police have not identified the suspect.
