St. Johns River Ferry service resumes after three-week outage

St. Johns River Ferry back in service

ATLANTIC BEACH, Fla. – According to the Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA), the St. Johns River Ferry will restart service Tuesday after being down for three weeks for maintenance and upgrades.

Access to the catwalk was upgraded along with the mooring bollards.

The ferry service runs daily from 6 a.m. to 8:45 p.m. and leaves every 30 minutes.

The five-minute ferry trip runs back and forth from Ft George Island and Mayport Village.
