The grand opening came on the month of the manufacturer’s 10th anniversary, according to Marques McCammon, president and chief executive of the company.
McCammon said Jacksonville is a great market for the automobile industry, which is why they decided to open a location in the city.
“There’s a lot of car culture here,” McCammon said. “It’s the right people with the right market.”
Karma Automotive sells hybrid, plug-in and electric vehicles -- all of them manufactured with state-of-the-art technology.
“When they come to a Karma dealership they can expect to see a very unique product,” McCammon said. “Our cars are designed to be timeless, and to be breathtaking.”
Karma debuted its first all-electric sedan on Saturday at the Amelia Island Concours.
Karma Automotive is located at 11619 Beach Blvd.
