JSO said a man, in his late 40s, was walking westbound across Arlington Road and was hit by a car traveling southbound in the outside lane.

The car “immediately” left the scene by making a U-turn to turn onto eastbound Lillian Road, and was last seen heading toward Lone Star Road, according to police.

A witness described the vehicle as a newer (2016 to 2018) white Nissan sedan with no window tint. The vehicle is said to have passenger-side damage.
