More Flagler County arrests caught on camera after traffic stop leads to discovery of fake IDs, other documents

FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. – For the second day in a row, the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office announced another traffic stop that led to the discovery of fake IDs and the arrest of a man who was in the country illegally with a federal warrant for deportation.

Bodycam video showed a Flagler County deputy pull over 38-year-old Angel Larrazabel-Fuestes because the temporary tag on his car was not registered with the Florida Department of Motor Vehicles.

Larrazabel-Fuestes then gives the deputy an ID that was later determined to be fake, as well as a car dealer-issued in-transit certificate that was tied to a fictitious company.

“That was obviously just printed off the internet. You can see the dotted lines where it was cut out.” “Poorly laminated to.” “Yes and not even cut straight,” the deputy was heard saying on video.

Larrazabel-Fuestes was arrested for driving with a fake tag and fake ID. During their investigation, deputies say they found a Venezuelan ID card. Investigators say the name on the card was an alias.

Then they discovered he had an FBI warrant for his arrest and deportation.

This arrest caught on video follows another arrest caught on camera involving illegal immigration and fake IDs. On Monday, 41-year-old German Altimirano-Hernandez – an immigrant and wanted fugitive who was illegally in the country after being deported multiple times, was arrested.

He was pulled over in a stolen van and had multiple fake IDs.

Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staley said both men were passing through Flagler County when they were stopped. He also said it doesn’t appear the men were working together to produce fake IDs.

“The only reason to have a fictitious ID is because you don’t want to get caught committing criminal activity or you don’t want to go to jail because you know you are a fugitive from somewhere,” Staly said.

Sheriff Staley said the fact that a judge signed off on a federal warrant for both men to be captured and deported says both men were dangerous criminals.
