According to DCPS, the fair is for students who want to work in the local area after graduation. Despite being geared toward seniors, high school juniors are encouraged to attend so they can explore post-graduation career options as well.

Last year, DCPS hosted a similar employment fair, which featured over 85 companies and military branches. According to DCPS, many students received job offers after the fair.

This year’s employment fair will be held on March 27 at the Prime Osbourne Convention Center located at 1000 Water Street from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Students who wish to attend can contact their school guidance counselor.
