JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – It took less than a year for someone to snag the hot spot in 5 points that was Black Sheep.
According to a report from Jax Daily Record, bartaco is taking over the cool and eclectic looking building at the corner of Oak and Margaret Streets, with one of the best rooftops in town.

For 13 years, Black Sheep served Southern inspired cuisine with a farm to table approach. It closed in May. Now, bartaco plans to bring its “upscale street-style” food to Jacksonville.

Inspired by ‘the beach culture of Brazil, Uruguay, and Southern California,’ bartaco’s menu includes 12 gourmet taco options, house-made guacamole and salsa, soups and salads, street corn, rice bowls, and desserts.
Currently there are five bartaco locations in Florida, located in Aventura, Coconut Grove, Orlando, Tampa, and Wynwood.
And not that you’re counting, but this will make...(counts on fingers) 904 Taco, Nacho Taco, Taqueria Cinco, Anejo Cocina, Lola’s Burritos and Burger Joint, Anejo Cocina, The Mossfire Grill, Tijuana Flats....well you get the idea, there are A LOT of places to get tacos in Riverside/5 points.
The opening date is yet to be announced.
