JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Welcome back to the old boat project.
To get you caught up, I am fixing an issue that developed from a poorly done patch job on a little crack that became a big hole in the bottom of my 1995 Scout Sportfish 162.
During the previous episodes, I have talked about the many products and devices that will be used to fix the hole. Whether you are watching these videos for entertainment or education and you wondered what resin, fiberglass cloth, or expanding foam is used for, then this video is for you.
What is resin and why are there two parts? Why does the foam need to expand? How will the fiberglass cloth be used to fix the hole? The best way to answer these questions is to show you what they are and how they work. More importantly, how they work together.
Be careful, you might just learn something new!
