JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man in his 40s is recovering from a gunshot wound while walking on a sidewalk Tuesday morning in Woodstock neighborhood.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said the man was walking on Huron Street around 11 a.m. when a man riding a bike tried to pass the man on the sidewalk. Police said the two men “exchanged words,” and the bicyclist shot the man in the chest.

He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The bicyclist rode off.
There is no shooter information.
Police said he was in stable condition, according to JSO.
