CRESCENT CITY, Fla. – A 58-year-old Crescent City man was arrested after a tip from an abuse hotline launched an extensive child abuse investigation, according to the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office.
On April 11, detectives reviewed interviews with four children that David Alan Beauprez knew through their family members.

The children were aged from 4 to 8 years old.
On April 22, investigators reviewed images on Beauprez’s phone that matched the information the children gave in their interviews and depicted sexually posed positions.
Officials searched his house and seized DVDs, electronic devices, and flash drives.
Beauprez faces six counts of cruelty toward a child by promoting sexual performance by a child.
Detectives believe more charges are pending after they examine the other seized items.
