JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Baptist & Wolfson Oakleaf Emergency Room is reopened after police investigated a “vehicle with suspicious material” in the parking lot.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said it received a call at 9:27 a.m. from Baptist Health security about a “suspicious device” in a van in the parking lot.

Officers coordinated with security to evacuate people for cautionary reasons.

JSO located the device and determined that it was safe. Officials said it appeared to be “plumbing material”.

Officials said no arrests or citations were made.

The hospital is operating as normal and there is no danger to the community.
