Man shot during argument at Jacksonville apartment pool

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – An argument at a Confederate Point apartment complex’s pool ended with a man in his 20s being shot in his leg on Friday.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said two parties got into a dispute at the complex on Confederate Point Road. Several shots rang out, hitting other apartments as well.

Police do not have shooter information but are talking to witnesses who were at the pool and reviewing surveillance.

It’s unclear what started the argument or what it was about.

The man was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

He underwent surgery so police did not have the chance to interview him.
