22-year-old man accused in 2023 Moncrief-area murder

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 22-year-old man who was already in jail was accused of a 2023 Jacksonville murder, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

Briyhon Johnson is accused of shooting 35-year-old Quynn K. Robinson Sr. last year in the Moncrief area.

On June 29, 2023, JSO responded to reported gunshots in the 1600 block of 45th Street.

When officers arrived they found Robinson Sr. dead inside a vehicle.

Following an investigation that included interviews and evidence, Johnson was arrested on Thursday.

He was already in jail on unrelated charges.
