When police arrived, they shouted for Park to come out of the house and walk toward them, but when he reached a certain point, Park stopped and said he would not come any closer. He refused to do anything else the police said and when he saw the officers’ stun guns, he turned and ran, police said.

According to LCPD, the officers were then able to arrest Park without further incident.

Police said their investigation revealed Park had a firearm and made threats to shoot the victim and the victim’s child.

Park also physically struck the victim multiple times and fired the weapon at the victim twice, according to police.

Park was transported to Columbia County Detention Facility and is facing several charges, including attempted homicide, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated child abuse, and others.
