Extended Day registration now open for DCPS; Parents asked to register for bus stops

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Extended Day registration for the 2024-25 school year is now open for Duval County parents. Registration opened on July 15 at 8 a.m.

Parents are asked to act now as space is limited and sites fill up quickly. Parents can select before-school care (7 a.m. until school starts), after-school care (opens at school dismissal until 6 p.m.), or both.

Duval County Extended Day Program accepts eligible DCPS students who are properly enrolled in Kindergarten through 12th grade. Click here for more information.

Also, the district said Monday is the last day for you to register your child to ride the bus for the upcoming school year to make sure they have a bus stop by the start of school on Aug. 12. Duval County Public Schools parents are required to register their children if they want them to ride the bus this fall. Late registration may delay the bus stop assignment, DCPS said.

To register, head to https://dcps.duvalschools.org/busregistration. You must fill out a 24-25 Transportation Registration form and submit it today to ensure your child will have a bus ride on the first day of school.
