JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man’s body was pulled from the water Tuesday night at a boat ramp off Beach Boulevard, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said.
Officers were called around 8 p.m. to a Pottsburg Creek boat ramp off Beach Boulevard, and the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department also responded.

When officers arrived, they found a man, and he was taken from the water. He died at the scene.
JSO said at this time, there appear to be no signs of foul play. JSO Homicide and Crime Scene Units are still investigating.
“We do not know the circumstances of the incident and because of this, the classification of the incident is pending. We will continue to investigate and coordinate our efforts with our partners at the Medical Examiner’s Office,” JSO said.
