JSO to host series of town halls to detail new patrol boundaries, introduce enhanced public safety initiative

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is hosting several town hall meetings to provide community members in their districts with the latest updates and safety protocols.

The meetings’ agenda will include:

  • Provide a one-year update regarding the new boundaries for patrol response
  • Introduce enhanced public safety initiative
  • Continue to connect officers with the community members they serve

The meetings are as follows:

  • District 1: Thursday, Aug. 1 at 6 p.m. - Main Library on 303 N. Laura Street
  • District 2: Thursday, Aug. 8 at 6 p.m. - The Chruch of Eleven22 on 651 Commerce Center Drive
  • District 3: Thursday, Aug. 15 at 6 p.m. - Sheraton Hotel on 10605 Deerwood Park Boulevard.
  • District 4: Thursday, Aug. 22 at 6 p.m. - First Coast Christian School on 7587 Blanding Boulevard
  • District 5: Thursday, Aug. 29 at 6 p.m. - Paxon Revival Center on 5461 Commonwealth Avenue
  • District 6: Thursday, Sept. 5 at 6 p.m. - North Jax Baptist Church on 8531 N. Main Street

All the meetings are free and do not require an RSVP.
