JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is hosting several town hall meetings to provide community members in their districts with the latest updates and safety protocols.
The meetings’ agenda will include:
- Provide a one-year update regarding the new boundaries for patrol response
- Introduce enhanced public safety initiative
- Continue to connect officers with the community members they serve
The meetings are as follows:
- District 1: Thursday, Aug. 1 at 6 p.m. - Main Library on 303 N. Laura Street
- District 2: Thursday, Aug. 8 at 6 p.m. - The Chruch of Eleven22 on 651 Commerce Center Drive
- District 3: Thursday, Aug. 15 at 6 p.m. - Sheraton Hotel on 10605 Deerwood Park Boulevard.
- District 4: Thursday, Aug. 22 at 6 p.m. - First Coast Christian School on 7587 Blanding Boulevard
- District 5: Thursday, Aug. 29 at 6 p.m. - Paxon Revival Center on 5461 Commonwealth Avenue
- District 6: Thursday, Sept. 5 at 6 p.m. - North Jax Baptist Church on 8531 N. Main Street
All the meetings are free and do not require an RSVP.
