BAKER COUNTY, Fla. – The Baker County Sheriff’s Office and the Baker County Public Works Department announced road closures due to flooding caused by Debby.

The National Weather Service in Jacksonville issued a Flash Flood Warning for Baker County until 9:45 p.m. Monday.

Closed Roads

  • Turner Cemetery Road from Hamp Register to JD Smith Trail

Roads to Avoid

Baker County officials recommend drivers avoid the following roads until the storm passes:

  • Cow Pen Road at Big Drains-Barrels
  • CR 127 at Osceola Road-Barrels
  • CR 127 at Annie Mae Paige to trailer park-Barrels
  • CR 125 at Wassie Fish curve and again north on the straight of way-under water signs
  • CR 124 at John Williams Road
  • CR 125 at Altman’s store-under water signs
  • Otis Yarborough Road is underwater from 8183 to 8685
  • Hunters Ridge Road underwater at box culvert
  • CR 229 S from S Prong to Clet Harvey
  • CR 228 is underwater from Blackbottom to 301
  • Claude Harvey just past Cedar Creek Farms Road
