Johnny McCray has lived in the home for more than 50 years.

McCray said the tree knocked over a clothing line that hit his game room, which is about 12 feet from the house, then toppled over onto his home.

“I wasn’t harmed at all. I was just sitting in the kitchen there and I heard this boom and I was just stunned, I was really stunned when I heard this boom and it was a tree that fell,” McCray said.

McCray said that even though the area is surrounded by trees, he had never experienced this before. But he added that he’s now planning to cut down all of the trees, especially after this incident.
