The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) pushed back its IRS tax deadline to help those in need.

Debby ravaged through parts of Florida, South Carolina, and Georgia.

Parts of Jacksonville’s Westside were hit hard with strong winds and heavy rain.

Federal disaster relief is available to Florida residents who live in:

  • Duval County
  • Nassau County
  • Clay County
  • St. Johns County
  • Baker County

Georgia residents who live in Camden and Glynn counties are eligible as well.

Residents or business owners can file various federal individual and business tax returns and make tax payments at IRS.gov.

The new deadline is Feb. 3, 2025.
