Columbia County deputies exploring new lead into missing woman who was last seen in May

COLUMBIA COUNTY, Fla. – The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office is following a new lead into the disappearance of a woman who was last seen in late May.

Officials have been searching for Martina Lundy, 61, since she was reported missing on June 18.

Detectives got a new tip and started searching one of her properties in Fort White.

“Having a missing loved one puts a void in a family member’s heart that cannot be filled until that loved one is located,” Sheriff Mark Hunter said in a social media post. “Our agency is dedicated to locating Mrs. Lundy and will investigate any lead that is presented to the best of our abilities.”

News4JAX spoke with some of Lundy’s family members who are desperate to get her home safe.

“She had two little small multi-poo dogs with her. They are two small dogs, so please, if you’ve seen her with her dogs, or anything, please say something,” Kaylin Madonia, Lundy’s granddaughter, said.

Her niece urged people to contact the sheriff’s office with any information.

"If anyone, no matter who you are, has any information or saw anything, even if you do not feel that it’s important, or that it’s small, please contact the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office or Crime Stoppers,” Amber Anderson said.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for any information that leads to the whereabouts of Lundy. You can call 386-754-7099 or visit their website to submit a web tip.

You can also submit a mobile tip by downloading the P3 Tips or the Florida Crime Stoppers app.

The Florida Sheriff’s Association is offering an additional reward of $5,000.
