Officials said the meeting will also include preparation for the manual audit of voting systems required by state laws.
The board will randomly select one race that appeared on the ballot in at least 1%, but no more than 2% precincts for that race.
Staff will conduct an audit of the early voting, Election Day, vote-by-mail, and provisional ballots for the primary of Precinct 802.
The precinct was randomly chosen by Duval County Judge Michael Bateh, who’s a member of the Canvassing Board.
The audit will happen on Friday, Aug. 30 at 9 a.m. in the Election Center at One Imeson Park Boulevard, Suite 100, Jacksonville, FL 32218.
The public is welcome to attend the audit.
