Man injured in shooting following argument on Jacksonville’s Northside

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man in his early 40s was injured in a shooting on Jacksonville’s Northside early Sunday, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

Police said around 1 a.m., they responded to a local hospital regarding a person who had been shot. When they arrived, they spoke to a man who suffered a single gunshot wound.

Police said the man suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

According to JSO, their initial investigation indicated there was an argument on East 31st Street, near Haines Street. When the man went to leave the area, he was shot multiple times by an unknown suspect.
