Historically, the Jags have had the Browns number. In fact, the Jags perform at their best against this team.

Jacksonville has outscored Cleveland by 123 points, their most against a single opponent.

Their 63.2%-win percentage against the Browns is all the highest for the Jags against any franchise.

But it is a new week, a new season and anyone can win at any time in the NFL.

“Been a fan since day one been coming to the games all through the 90s and ever since,” Danny Geoghagan said.

Here are some things people need to know before heading over to the TrEverBank Stadium.

  • You can only bring in clear bags or a small clutch (smaller than 4.5″ x 6.5″).
  • Make sure your mobile ticket is downloaded on your phone before leaving your house, that goes for your parking pass as well.
  • Don’t bring cash, the stadium is cashless. Cards and digital wallets are going to be your best bets at the game.
  • Even though it has been raining a lot, attendees cannot bring an umbrella, only a rain jacket or poncho is allowed.
  • You can pack a factory-sealed, commercially branded 16.9-ounce plastic water bottle to keep you hydrated and use the water fountains in the stadium to refill.

  • Parking lots open at 9 a.m.
  • Gates 1 and 4 open at 10 a.m.
  • At 11 a.m. the entire stadium opens, including the seating bowl.
  • The Jags are encouraging fans to be in their seats by 12:30 p.m. so you don’t miss any action.

Cordova said his expectations for the team are high and hopes he can help get them started.

“A tremendous honor. I really truly feel this is their Super Bowl year. I don’t want to jinx it, but I really feel like they have the talent to do it. To be out there and to be a part of that first experience here at home, I hope that we are setting the tone, positive tone,” Cordova said.

The team said if you want to deal with minimal delays, try and arrive three hours before kickoff.

Kickoff is scheduled for 1:02 p.m.
