Scheduled events included author book signings, literature chats, audience Q&A and free books for children. Food trucks across the street at James Weldon Johnson Park were available to fill hungry tummies.
Kids got to make a book about themselves, join a bubble party in the courtyard, and participate in scavenger hunts.
There were quiet rooms so families and children could take a much-needed break from all the reading action and activities.
Early Learning Coalition of Duval and Kids Hope Alliance worked closely with children’s librarians to make sure this year’s event was one to remember.
