Man injured after verbal argument ends in shooting on Jacksonville’s Northside

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man was injured in a shooting inside a home on Jacksonville’s Northside, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

Police said around 10 a.m., officers responded to Yellow Bluff Road, near Fritz Road, after receiving reports of a shooting.

Early investigation determined two men got into a verbal argument inside a home, and during that dispute, one shot the other.

According to JSO, a man in his mid-30s suffered at least one gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said the suspect left the area in a silver minivan.

According to JSO, the suspect was wearing a white T-shirt and multi-colored shorts.
