The student was arrested and faces seven charges, including possession of firearms and possession of burglary tools.

His arrest caused a brief school lockdown on Monday.

On Tuesday, the school was locked down again as a result of information received regarding a rumor of a potential school shooting, the district said.

“While there was no threat or any type of violence, something caused some students to panic. Calm has been restored, and students are safe,” the district wrote in an email to parents after the lockdown.
