Officials said the pickup truck was heading south on SR-21 and the sedan was heading north.

Investigators said the van was in the parking lot of a gas station waiting to turn onto SR-21.

FHP said the pickup truck made a left turn in the sedan’s path, causing a collision.

As a result of the initial crash, the sedan struck the van.

Officials said a passenger of the sedan was taken to the hospital where he died.

Six other people suffered minor injuries.

As of Saturday at 4:40 p.m., all lanes were still blocked.
