National Coffee Day returns with deals on Sept. 29

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Can you smell the air with the fresh aroma of coffee? National Coffee Day returned Sunday for all coffee lovers.

This day commemorates celebrating this beverage with unique perks, discounts, and subscriptions.

According to National Coffee Data Trends, 51% of Americans believe coffee is good for their health. 66% believe coffee improves mental focus, and 46% think it improves physical endurance. Plus, 48% have heard about the health benefits associated with drinking coffee in the past year.

On average, 413 million Americans consume 2.5 cups per day — enough to fill an Olympic-size swimming pool more than 39 times.

Where can you find deals in the Jacksonville area?

Scooter’s Coffee will be offering free iced or hot brewed coffee, any size, through its mobile app on Sept. 29 and 30. Additions like flavored syrups and cold foam are extra. No additional purchase is required for this deal.

Dunkin’ Donuts is giving away a FREE Medium hot or iced coffee with purchase through the Dunkin’ app. In addition to free coffee, Dunkin is teaming up with home fragrance brand Homesick to bring back a sweet-scented collaboration inspired by guests’ Dunkin’ favorites.

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts: For the occasion, Krispy Kreme is offering a special on doughnuts. Fans can get a dozen “Original Glazed” doughnuts for just $2 with the purchase of any dozen at regular price.

Circle K: Customers can redeem an offer for a free medium hot or iced coffee from Sept. 26 to Oct. 2 through the Circle K app.

Whataburger: From 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sept. 29, guests can get a free 16-ounce iced coffee or 12-ounce hot coffee. No purchases are necessary.

Starbucks: Starbucks is offering customers a special National Coffee Day deal on Amazon through 9/29. Coffee lovers can stock up on their preferred coffees to enjoy at home and during Sofi Tukker’s live-streaming session. As part of the celebratory offer, when customers spend $50 on select coffee blends and at-home favorites, they will get $10 off while supplies last.
