JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A teen was critically injured in a hit-and-run crash early Monday on Blanding Boulevard, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
Police said the teen was crossing Blanding Blvd., near the intersection with Confederate Point Road, when they were struck by a white car.

According to police, after hitting the teen, the driver pulled into a parking lot south of the crash scene to check for damages to the car, inspected it and then continued driving south on Blanding Blvd.
The teen was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to police.
According to JSO, the suspect car is believed to be a white Toyota Yaris or a similar vehicle.
