St. Johns County residents have until Oct. 7 to register to vote

St. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – The deadline for St. Johns County residents to register to vote for the upcoming general election is Oct. 7.

The Supervisor of Elections Office, located at 4455 Avenue A, Suite 101, in St. Augustine will be open Saturday, Oct. 5 for special hours from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. to register voters.

Online voter registration is available at www.registertovoteflorida.gov. Voters can register at local public libraries, Tax Collector Offices, and the Supervisor of Elections Office during regular business hours.

Officials said to visit www.votesjc.gov and use “My Voter Status” to check their registration status and voter information.

Voters can update their voter records, view sample ballots, or request a vote-by-mail ballot. Voters are encouraged to update their address before Election Day to know their correct polling location.
