JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Tropea Dental Care at the St. Johns Town Center next to Publix is hosting a free dental day on Saturday, Oct. 19. The event will start at 8 a.m. and run until 2 p.m.
“We understand that many people in our community and across the nation haven’t been to the dentist for a long time," Dr. Christina Monford said.

Monford and the team at Tropea Dental Care will be giving back to the community as part of “Free Dentistry Day,” a day dedicated to providing free dental care to the growing number of Americans without dental insurance.
“Some don’t understand the importance of dental health or have delayed routine check-ups over the last several years due to the pandemic, but more often than not, they don’t have the financial means,” said Monford.
Insurance is not required to receive treatment on Free Dentistry Day and patients will be accepted either by appointment or on a first-come, first-served basis.

The office will offer one free extraction to the first 50 patients.
