ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – Three southbound lanes were blocked on Interstate 95 southbound in St. Johns County Thursday evening following a crash that caused a semi-truck to overturn, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Officials said around 6:30 p.m., a 68-year-old man was driving an SUV in the left lane just north of County Road 210. At the same time, a 39-year-old man was driving a semi-truck in the right lane.

According to FHP, something went wrong with the SUV’s tire, so the driver changed lanes from the left to the right lane, directly into the path of the semi.

The SUV’s right side hit the semi’s left front, which caused the semi to overturn onto its right side.

No one was injured in the crash, according to the FHP report.
